Meet Carl 2.jpg

I never anticipated scaling my business in a way that would require me to bring on employees. My brand is extremely personal, and for better or worse, I’ve always functioned as a one-man team—thinking that the only way I could ensure the client experience was if I was there to complete every task. THEN I MET CARL.

Here's the Deal:

Carl and I connected several years ago when he relocated to the North Shore of Boston, and he arrived on the scene with a clear talent and purpose-driven approach to his craft. I have loved every opportunity that I’ve had to work with Carl over the past several years, and I’m honored and excited to share that he has now come on board with my business as my Associate Photographer! It’s too often that I have to turn clients away because I’ve already been booked or because of budget restrictions, so I’m thrilled that Carl will now be photographing weddings under my brand. Beyond his clear talents as a visual storyteller, Carl is also extremely kind, reliable, and relatable. He cares about making honest images, and I’m excited to grow with and learn from him as we continue working together!

We were initially drawn to your style and approach. Is working with Carl a similar experience?

Absolutely. One of the first things I came to appreciate about Carl while working with him at weddings is that he approaches the day with the same care and attention to detail that I do. We both are fueled by storytelling, and love to document the in-between moments that will color your wedding day.

Do you and Carl use the same equipment?

We do! So much so that I’ve even borrowed from Carl on occasion! Carl is well equipped with all the tools and back-ups that he’ll need to photograph your wedding. For those interested: Carl uses Canon 5D Mark IV cameras with a wide variety of L-series lenses.

What about editing? How will our files be processed?

Carl and I have very similar editing and shooting styles, and we collaborate through out the editing process of every wedding we photograph together. You can trust that your wedding photos will be processed in a manner consistent with the style you see on this website. Just like any of my other clients, you’ll receive a beautiful online gallery of full resolution digital files no later than 8 weeks after your wedding day – delivered by me!

Who do we communicate with leading up to our wedding?

In the event that I am not available for your wedding, I will connect you with Carl right away, and he will be your primary point of contact throughout the planning process. I’ll be sure to touch base along the way to make sure things are running smoothly, but I value the importance of building a relationship with your wedding photographer and want you to have that with him!

Can we see some full wedding galleries from Carl?

This all sounds great! How do we book?

It’s easy! Once you and Carl have landed on a specific wedding package, I’ll draft up a contract and invoice for your review and submission. To reserve your date, I simply need a signed contract and a $2,000.00 non-refundable retainer fee. If your wedding requires travel, I’ll also need the expenses paid at the time of booking to ensure travel costs are as quoted. Weddings taking place more than 2 hours drive from Beverly, MA will require a 1 night’s stay.
