Frequently asked questions.

  • To reserve your wedding date, I simply need a signed contract and a non-refundable reservation fee. If your wedding requires travel, I’ll also need the expenses paid at the time of booking to ensure travel costs are as quoted.

  • My team and I currently live on the North Shore of Boston and we are available for travel worldwide. I’m a pro at fitting the essentials into a carry-on and love to see new places. Don’t let distance keep you from reaching out.

  • I have learned to document weddings well on my own and have photographed most of my career as a sole photographer. In most cases, I will feel very confident photographing a wedding (of any size) alone. However, hiring a second photographer can be a great way to get additional coverage of your wedding day, especially if logistics dictate photographs being needed in two places simultaneously. A second photographer is also a great asset in helping document extra photos of details and can provide more focus on family and friends while you and I might be getting portraits elsewhere. Second photographers can be added to any package.

  • While I’ll retain the copyright of the images from your wedding day, my contract gives personal print and media permissions to my clients for any non-commercial use. This means you’ll be able to download and print your photos restriction-free. If you have particular concerns about privacy, please let me know.

  • Establishing a great connection with my clients is essential in capturing their day well, so having some sort of contact beyond email is a prerequisite before booking me as your photographer. If you’re local to the North Shore I’d be glad to try and meet you for a cup of coffee or a cocktail. If this isn’t feasible, I’m more than happy to set up a Facetime or zoom call. I want to make sure that you’re 100% confident that I’m the right photographer to be joining you to document your uniquely personal day.

  • I sure do, and I love it! I charge a travel fee of $250 for the added time away in addition to the actual expenses of any airfare and/or hotel stay for weddings taking place more than two hours away from my home in Beverly, MA. Most weddings that include air travel will require two nights accommodation in addition to transportation. Weddings that take place more than two hours from my home in Beverly, MA will additionally require one night's accommodation.

  • Absolutely. I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings over the last 10+ years, and love to use this experience to help my clients have a very smooth and relaxed wedding day. I pride myself on being a team-player with the other vendors you’ve hired, and am happy to communicate with them to ensure a mutually agreeable schedule based on your priorities. Please check out my blog for a detailed article on what I suggest for timelines.

  • Of course I do. Please let me know if your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance, I am happy to provide one.

As for back-up camera equipment, I have a very large collection of cameras and always carry a backup when I am shooting, this also goes for memory cards, lenses and lighting gear.

  • Yes, each client gallery comes standard with an opt in user-friendly print storefront full of many beautifully curated products ranging from lay-flat albums to framed prints—even foiled thank-you cards and heirloom print boxes. I love it when clients choose to print their photos and am always available to help fulfill and print orders that they or other family members may be interested in making.
