MSP is looking for a talented Associate Photographer to join our growing team. As a vital member of our creative team, you will be a trusted extension of the MSP brand—expanding our capacity to serve more clients while delivering a refined and positive customer experience. The dynamic nature of this role requires that the ideal candidate demonstrates exemplary professionalism, photographic talent and communication skills. Responsibilities include collaborating with lead photographers, executing sales calls, calendar management, seamless execution of event work and the creation of heirloom quality images consistent with MSP’s award-winning brand standard. This role is not for beginner photographers. Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years* of prior lead photography experience and posses the technical skills & equipment necessary to execute high quality work. As part of a collaborative team you will be joining a friendly and supportive work environment, but very much expected to showcase your skills as a trusted and reliable independent worker.

  • Photographic Execution:

    Capture high-quality, artistic images that align with the quality & aesthetic of the MSP brand.

    Ensure consistency in style and artistic approach

    Work closely with owner and other team members to achieve a cohesive visual narrative.

    Take direction effectively and contribute creatively to achieve the desired outcome.

    Client Interaction:

    Maintain a prompt, professional and personable demeanor when interacting with clients.

    Assist in creating a positive and comfortable atmosphere during events.

    Equipment Management:

    Carefully handle and maintain photography equipment to ensure optimal performance.

    Be prepared to troubleshoot technical issues during shoots.

    Work efficiently to meet deadlines and adhere to the timeline of photography events.

    Manage time effectively to capture key moments without disruption.

    Representing the Brand:

    Uphold the brand's image and reputation through professionalism and exceptional work.

  • A detail-oriented self-starter with prior experience in the photography industry or within a creative small business team

    Someone who exhibits sound judgment with the ability to prioritize and make decisions

    Comfortable interacting with luxury clients & planners

    Pays meticulous attention to detail, capturing both planned and spontaneous moments.

    Ensure the composition, lighting, and overall visual elements meet the company's luxury standards.

  • G-suite (email, calendar, forms)

    Dubsado or other CRM (proposals, client questionnaires, invoices, job tracking)

    Zoom/Google Meet (Video Conferencing)

    Must possess a full load out of the photography equipment (cameras, lenses, lighting, back up equipment, etc.) necessary to perform wedding work.
